Very good texture once I mix with my favorite oat milk, doesn’t have an after taste most protein powders have. It’s a very unique protein powder I won’t stop buying from you guys. I do see results in my everyday life too. Love it!
Sport Formula Protein Powder is great product for mixing with either water or milk to provide a great tasting shake. Usually drink this after exercise to support muscle recovery.
This is pretty good protein powder, prefect for morning smoothies. I dislike whey products and prefer not to use pea protein powder.
This is a very healthy protein mix with a nice amino acid profile, which they list on the label. It also has some essential vitamins and minerals, which is a nice bonus though this is by no means a meal replacement. I have not had any chickpea protein mix before--just the pea protein but this seems like it has an identical texture and flavor profile. It's gritty and though it does mix fairly well in a shake, it doesn't completely dissolve (I tried this in 2% milk though I usually do almond milk). The main drawback is the overpowering stevia flavor. Stevia is a great natural sweetener, but there's just way too much in there or it's the wrong type or something. They even complement it with monk fruit extract, which seems to have a better flavor. But it was really overwhelming aftertaste due to the stevia and I'm not excited to have more. I would try again from this company though--they seem legit and everything is great except perhaps the sweetener balance.
The protein shake mixed up well. The flavor is called Chocolate Shake and I would not go so far as to comparing it to a chocolate shake. It’s flavor is comparable to most dairy free/vegan chocolate protein shakes-nothing spectacular, a little bland. I was really hoping this one would taste like a chocolate shake-lol wishful thinking. It’s not bad at all though. It is not chalky and goes down quite well. I did not have any side effects and I felt very good after consuming. It kept me satisfied for several hours.
I could eating meat and I'm on a strict plant-based diet. Wanting to supplement my protein because I started lifting again. This protein mixes really well and taste really good. It has very low sugar content which is important to me unpacks 21 grams of protein in each serving. I know that plant-based proteins always cost more than regular whey proteins. That being said, this is a bit pricey and will factor into my decision on whether to continue using it in the future. If money is no object to you then I highly recommend this protein powder. Mixing well, little sausage content and tasting great are big important factors to me.
I am super happy with how this protein powder makes me feel and how well it carries me through the morning into early afternoon. The chickpea sourcing with pea protein amino acids really does the job well for me. The flavor... Maybe I'm just not a fan of chocolate protein powders I suppose. I have yet to find one which is actually a full on Chocolate flavor versus some sort of Chocolate-Like flavor. This powder isn't bad tasting by any means. it isn't horrible, it just isn't what I think of as 'Chocolate', nor is it sweet enough for me, so I did add some stevia drops one morning, but found I preferred maple syrup in it instead. Significantly costlier than the Old Standard yellow protein powder I have been using, but works really well too. I would really like to try this in a vanilla or unflavored style, but that seems to not be an option at this time. I hope this is helpful.
The powder had been compacted a lot. It appeared to be about half full upon arrival. I was excited to try this super healthy, all-natural plant-based protein powder. My stomach is not great with whey or soy. Chickpeas are loaded with good stuff. I eat a ton of them in their natural form, in hummus, and as a flour. This is my first Chickpea protein powder for drinks. I always like to try a product as recommended before I go putting in smoothies. The directions were: scoop into 8 oz of water/beverage. I was skeptical because it was a lot of powder into a little water, but it did dissolve. Taste is okay. It doesn’t taste like I am drinking beans. It is not dirty. I do taste the stevia a lot. Stevia has a very distinct taste that I am not a huge fan of. The texture is pretty smooth and not chalky. Botom line: Good nutrition that does not **** my tummy.
If nutrition is your only concern this protein is just a fantastic choice. Here's why: This is a vegan product that doesn't have some of the negative side effects of soy nor the strong taste of pea protein. 21g protein in each serving is from chickpeas protein. It is a fantastic healthy choice for protein that has some great health benefits and has a nutty / neutral taste. 8g Cocoa: Cocoa has numerous compounds, antioxidants and nutrients that are good for you. Sweetener / Low carb This protein only has 2g of net cards and is sweetened with diet friendly stevia and monk Fruit sweetener. Stevia is probably the healthiest sweetener to use with the least interactions / complications on any diets. Taste: I do find this has a strong stevia taste which may put some people off. But otherwise it is tastes good. Blending: This protein does blend well. I do find that it may settle some after blending so trying to drink immediately is a good idea. Final thoughts: I do recommend this protein if you don't mind stevia. It is a very healthy option that taste good.
Sport Formula Chickpea Protein Powder, Organic and Vegan Plant Based Protein, All Natural Protein Powder with Essential Amino Acids, Chocolate Flavor, only 2 net Carbs with 21 Grams Protein There are a few things that I look for in a protein powder. I look for a nice amount of protein but I want that protein to be vegan because I don’t do well with whey protein. I also need my protein powder to be low carb and sugar free. This formula is made from pea protein which works well for me plus I like that it is sweetened with stevia and monk fruit. I really like the chocolate flavor. I mix this with either almond or chia/flax milk plus spinach or kale. It is a delicious shake mix.
Very balanced product with live enzymes for rapid absorption into your cells. No soy , gluten, gmo, or lactose. This is a high quality protein drink that I use after my morning workouts. It rejuvenates my body for the day. The taste is good too! Trust you found this review honest and helpful:-)

Great source of protein. I get no bloat at all from this and my joints feel much better getting off of whey. I also feel like I am recovery better on this compared to whey. No more whey in my diet.
I like that this protein is plant based, gluten free and even keto friendly. My husband is on the keto diet and we can both use this together. I've tried several protein powders mixed in smoothies but a lot of times the protein will make me feel extremely bloated. It's nice that this protein has a great taste but doesn't cause any bloating. The chocolate flavor goes well with banana in a smoothie. The stevia leaves a bit of an aftertaste, which is my only complaint. Made in USA, I would recommend
I use protein powder after a lot of physical exertion (exercise, hiking, etc.), or as a quick snack, blended with some fruit. I'm always on the lookout for a good protein powder, I'd never had chickpea protein before, and gave this a try. This is yet another example of how stuff that is largely all-natural or vegan can also taste good. In this case, quite good. I really like it. It's definitely chocolate, pleasant-tasting, with no aftertaste. I really like how this is mostly just protein, with very few carbs (and practically no sugar) and extremely low fat content.
The taste on this powder is not like some other cocoa flavored protein powders, the ones with whey protein that are basically like a healthier version of a dessert milkshake. This has a bit of an earthy taste. Maybe because I know it is from chickpeas, but I can kind of taste the chickpea (has a hint of dried chickpea snacks that you find in some countries see: "leblebi") I guess it's a good stomach-filler to have after a workout, to get some protein and avoid eating junk. But if you are looking for a tasty treat, you might find this an unusual flavor. When I find a protein powder that has an unusual taste, I recommend making a protein cocktail by mixing this into something with a sweeter flavor profile.
